Head of Invoicing – EMEA

About the role

We are establishing a new Head of Invoicing function for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. This senior leader will unify currently separate invoicing teams, create consistent processes, and lay the groundwork for future ERP integration.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the end‑to‑end invoicing strategy, governance, policies and control framework across EMEA.
• Build, lead and develop a high‑performing, multi‑location invoicing team, providing clear direction and performance management.
• Partner with Finance leadership, the Regional CFO, sales, client services and clients to resolve escalations and improve billing discipline.
• Drive invoicing excellence by improving accuracy, timeliness, completeness and dispute resolution, delivering insight‑led reporting on performance and revenue impact.
• Lead transformation initiatives, including ERP standardisation and broader system and process changes, ensuring invoicing requirements are represented.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in invoicing, billing or finance operations within a multinational environment.
• Strong track record of building and managing high‑performing teams across multiple locations.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to influence finance, sales and client‑facing functions.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement governance, policies and control frameworks.
• Experience driving process improvement and transformation projects.

Required skills

• ERP systems knowledge (ERP‑agnostic approach and future ERP integration).
