Health & Safety Officer

About the role

Essential Oxygen Ltd (EOL) is seeking a full‑time Health & Safety Officer to support both on‑site and off‑site operations. You will play a key part in developing, implementing and reviewing health and safety policies and procedures across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections and internal audits.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations.
• Prepare detailed reports and maintain accurate safety records.
• Deliver training and provide ongoing support to staff on health and safety matters.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Proven experience conducting risk assessments, inspections and audits.
• Ability to prepare clear reports and maintain comprehensive records.
• Excellent communication and training abilities.
• Attention to detail and capacity to work independently.
• Certification in Health & Safety or a related field is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a related discipline preferred.
