Housekeeping Coordinator

About the role

The Housekeeping Coordinator supports the Executive Housekeeper in ensuring smooth daily operations of the housekeeping department at Constance Le Chaland. This onsite position involves managing reports, keys, supplies, and administrative tasks while maintaining high service standards for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily reports, time‑sheets, staff absences and monthly summaries for the housekeeping team.
• Control guest supplies, stationery, and expenses for the housekeeping office.
• Coordinate guest requests and liaise with other hotel departments, external suppliers and training teams.
• Maintain accurate records of lost & found items, keys, memos and all departmental paperwork.
• Answer telephone calls, handle guest inquiries and screen complaints for prompt resolution.
• Ensure the housekeeping office, store and equipment remain clean and well‑organized.
• Prepare end‑of‑month reports and maintain the requisition storeroom inventory.
• Assist with scheduling and follow‑up of housekeeping training programs.

Required profile

• Secondary education (Middle or Secondary) with additional training or certification in hospitality or office administration.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with all hotel departments.
• Attention to detail, good rapport with colleagues and adherence to hotel policies.

Required skills

• Computer literacy for data entry, reporting and record‑keeping.
