Housekeeping Coordinator

About the role

The Housekeeping Coordinator supports the Housekeeping Department at Constance Le Chaland, ensuring smooth daily operations and high standards of guest service. This role involves administrative management, coordination with other hotel areas, and handling guest and staff requests.

Key responsibilities

• Manage reports, keys, and all documentation related to the Housekeeping Department.
• Coordinate guest requests, supplier requisitions, and inter‑departmental communication.
• Maintain inventory of guest supplies, stationery, and housekeeping office stock.
• Control Lost & Found records, handle guest calls, and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Prepare daily, monthly, and end‑of‑month reports, including attendance and expense tracking.
• Support the Executive Housekeeper with typing, paperwork, and administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education; additional training or certificates are a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a luxury resort.
• Strong interpersonal communication and ability to work under pressure.
• Good rapport with colleagues and adherence to hotel policies and procedures.

Required skills

• Computer literate.
