Housekeeping (Floor) Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping (Floor) Supervisor will lead the floor cleaning team at Constance Belle Mare Plage, ensuring rooms and public areas meet the resort’s high standards of hygiene and presentation. This position reports to the Assistant Executive Housekeeper and acts as the Head Housekeeper in their absence.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily room cleaning and overall department hygiene.
• Oversee equipment cleaning, maintenance, and immediate reporting of defects.
• Rotate staff across tasks as needed to optimise productivity.
• Monitor safety and fire regulations, eliminating work hazards.
• Maintain adequate stock of guest amenities, chemicals and cleaning supplies.
• Check staff punctuality, manage payroll efficiency and minimise costs.
• Train and coach team members continuously to improve quality and productivity.
• Ensure clear communication between housekeeping and other departments.
• Perform Head Housekeeper duties during their absence.

Required profile

• Middle or secondary education; additional training or certificates are a plus.
• Minimum three years’ experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a luxury resort.
• At least one year of experience in a similar supervisory role.
• Experience on remote island locations is advantageous.
• Strong organisational and team‑management abilities.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of cleaning and maintenance procedures.
• Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment and handle cleaning chemicals safely.
