HR Coordinator – Full‑Lifecycle HR Role

About the role

Join APTIS Group as an HR Coordinator and own the full employee lifecycle across the business. You will work closely with the COO and the Group HR Manager, ensuring alignment with Mauritian labour regulations and Group policies while driving people‑first initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment and selection for all roles in partnership with the COO and team leads.
• Conduct onboarding and off‑boarding, including inductions on food safety, hygiene and health & safety for staff in the processing facility.
• Maintain accurate employee files, contracts and records, and oversee the annual performance review cycle.
• Organise training, development initiatives and employee welfare and engagement activities.
• Resolve employee relations issues, handle grievances and support disciplinary procedures in line with Mauritian labour law.
• Provide strategic workforce planning advice, talent management support and culture‑related initiatives.
• Analyse HR metrics such as turnover, absenteeism, time‑to‑hire and training hours to shape HR programs.
• Ensure compliance with labour regulations, monitor HR systems, and coordinate payroll data with the Group HR department.

Required profile

• BSc in Human Resources Management or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of solid HR experience, preferably in multisite, retail or FMCG environments.
• Thorough knowledge of Mauritian labour legislation and HR best practices across the employee lifecycle.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage a diverse workforce.
• Analytical mindset, high autonomy, initiative and resilience in a sole‑HR role.

Required skills

• Experience analysing HR metrics to inform decision‑making.
• Proficiency with HRMS (Human Resources Management System) implementation and optimisation.
