HR Lead (People Partner)

About the role

MEDINE GROUP | Support Services is looking for a People Partner (HR Lead) who will act as a strategic partner to business leaders and help achieve business strategy goals. The role also offers expert advice, direction and support across the employee lifecycle to improve the employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Recruitment: be the main point of contact for the management team on recruitment, and deliver a great candidate experience from the job opening through to acceptance of the offer.
• Onboarding and induction: introduce new employees to the organisation, give them support and guidance, and make sure they have the tools and resources they need.
• Learning and development: help identify and provide training and development opportunities so employees can grow in their roles.
• Reward and recognition: implement reward and recognition strategies that build a culture of appreciation and boost motivation and engagement.
• Performance: take part in performance development, set clear objectives, give regular feedback and coaching, and carry out formal performance evaluations.
• Offboarding: manage departures, including exit interviews, return of company property and final settlement of outstanding benefits.
• Other duties as required by the employer.

Required profile

• Degree in Human Resources, a social science or a related discipline.
• 5 years of experience in a human resources department.
• Strong communication skills and a high degree of confidentiality.
• Proactive attitude and problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of labour laws
