Human Resources Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Human Resources Assistant to support the HR function of Guardinal Security Ltd, a leading security guard service provider in Mauritius. The role will involve assisting with recruitment, payroll, employee records and day‑to‑day HR administration in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment processes, including scheduling interviews and onboarding new hires.
• Maintain and update employee personnel files and HR records.
• Support attendance tracking, leave management and payroll administration.
• Prepare and verify payroll information and respond to employee queries.
• Coordinate training sessions and induction activities.
• Assist in handling disciplinary matters and maintaining related documentation.
• Ensure confidentiality of all employee and company information.
• Provide general administrative support to the HR team.

Required profile

• Diploma in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous experience in HR or administrative roles is an advantage.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential data.
• Motivated, accountable and able to work in a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
