Instructional Designer

About the role

The Instructional Designer will create, develop, and continuously improve learning programs for the Network & Security Operations Center (NSOC). The role supports onboarding, upskilling, knowledge transfer and capability development in a fast‑paced, 24/7 environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct learning needs analysis with NSOC leadership, SMEs and stakeholders to identify skill gaps.
• Design and develop e‑learning modules, instructor‑led training, workshops, job aids and simulations using ADDIE or SAM.
• Build interactive digital learning using Rise Up, Articulate Storyline or equivalent, integrating multimedia and AI‑driven elements.
• Collaborate with NOC/SOC engineers, team leads and AI/DevOps teams to translate complex technical content into learner‑friendly formats.
• Design assessments, evaluate training effectiveness with the Kirkpatrick model and align outcomes with NSOC KPIs.
• Maintain LMS compatibility, digital learning libraries and version control of all materials.

Required profile

• Proven experience in instructional design for technical audiences.
• Ability to work closely with engineers and technical teams in a 24/7 shift environment.
• Strong analytical skills to turn operational challenges into structured learning solutions.
