IT Audit & Data Privacy Consultant/Manager

About the role

EY Mauritius is seeking experienced technology consultants at Consultant to Manager level to help clients navigate IT audit, information security, cyber transformation and data privacy challenges. You will join a dynamic team delivering high‑impact projects across industries both locally and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or support delivery of audit and security projects using EY methodologies and tools.
• Collaborate with client personnel, maintain professional relationships, and present findings.
• Coordinate cross‑functional, cross‑competency, and cross‑geography teams within EY and client organisations.
• Prepare and deliver reports and presentations to senior stakeholders.
• Manage project lifecycles from planning through execution and closure.
• Continuously update expertise through learning and certification.
• Perform additional duties related to technology consulting as required.

Required profile

• 2‑6 years of experience in IT audit, information security management, cyber transformation or data privacy.
• Undergraduate or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or related STEM field.
• Excellent written and oral communication in English and French.
• Proactive learner, able to work independently and within teams.
• Willingness to obtain a professional certification (CISA, CISSP, CISM) within an agreed timeframe.
• Ability to travel according to client needs.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 27001, ISO 27701, COBIT, NIST, ISO 22301, SWIFT CSP standards.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
