IT Auditor – Technology Risk & Data Analytics

About the role

As an IT Auditor in EY’s Technology Risk & Data Analytics team in Mauritius, you will work with experienced professionals to help clients strengthen their technology environments, manage emerging risks, and leverage data for better decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate and test IT General Controls (ITGCs) across Access Management, Change Management and IT Operations.
• Perform data analytics on large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, risks and opportunities.
• Assess the design and operating effectiveness of technology controls.
• Participate in client walkthroughs and interviews to understand business processes and technology environments.
• Prepare high‑quality audit documentation in line with EY methodologies and professional standards.
• Identify control deficiencies and provide practical, value‑driven recommendations.
• Support internal audit, external audit, technology risk and digital transformation engagements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across EY’s global network.
• Continuously develop technical, analytical and leadership skills through coaching and real‑world experience.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Accounting Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Candidates with up to two years of relevant experience are welcome.
• Final‑year students awaiting degree completion or examination results may also apply.
