IT Operations Analyst

About the role

The IT Operations Analyst ensures the stability and continuity of business‑critical services across enterprise platforms. Working in a 24×7 environment, the analyst monitors systems, manages incidents and supports batch workloads, collaborating closely with technical and support teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor business‑critical services, infrastructure, applications and operational workloads, responding to alerts and exceptions.
• Handle incident management: perform initial diagnosis, troubleshoot, assess impact and execute approved recovery procedures.
• Support 24×7 operations through rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Oversee scheduled batch workloads, investigate processing failures, execute restart and recovery steps and ensure successful processing cycles.
• Maintain operational documentation, shift handover records and contribute ideas to improve efficiency and service quality.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Willingness to learn and work with Mainframe environments and associated tooling.
• Ability to work in a 24×7 operational setting and follow documented procedures.
