IT System Developer – Odoo Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an IT System Developer to join our IT department and work closely with cross‑functional teams. You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing our business systems, primarily built on the Odoo platform, while supporting digital initiatives across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain custom Odoo modules, views, models, reports, workflows, and automations.
• Manage Odoo.sh and GitHub deployment pipelines, handling staging and production releases.
• Support Odoo version upgrades, including testing, compatibility checks, and module migration.
• Develop and maintain website features and integrations.
• Analyse business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
• Gather requirements from management and operational teams and propose workflow improvements.
• Train end‑users on new features and produce user guides.
• Provide reporting, data extraction, and integration support.
• Coordinate with external consultants when needed and ensure thorough testing before deployment.
• Maintain up‑to‑date technical and functional documentation.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Python development.
• Proven experience with Odoo development (Odoo 18/19 is a plus).
• Good understanding of PostgreSQL databases.
• Ability to translate business needs into system solutions.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Interest in AI tools, automation, and AI agents is a strong advantage.
