Junior Accountant - Client Accounting

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support our client accounting team. You will process accounting records, prepare basic financial statements and assist with statutory filings while learning IFRS and our proprietary systems.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post final bookkeeping entries for financial statements and management accounts.
• Support senior accountants with ad‑hoc projects and day‑to‑day bookkeeping.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of client VAT, TDS and other basic tax returns.
• Help compile and file annual financial statements and other statutory returns on time.
• Produce elementary management accounts in line with applicable accounting standards.

Required profile

• HSC or equivalent qualification.
• Enrolled or in the process of enrolling in a professional accounting qualification.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative team attitude.

Required skills

• Willingness to learn NAV, Efront and Value Financials software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to learn IFRS and other relevant accounting frameworks.
