Junior Accountant – Trust Services

About the role

Citco is looking for a Junior Accountant to join its Global Subsidiary Governance Services team. You will support multinational clients by handling day‑to‑day accounting, preparing accurate reports and ensuring compliance with local and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general accounting and bookkeeping in line with local, international and industry‑specific requirements.
• Produce timely and accurate financial reports for clients worldwide.
• Monitor financial transactions, verify supporting documentation and resolve client queries.
• Assist in the preparation of annual audits.
• Participate in group projects and ad‑hoc assignments as directed by the account manager.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of professional accounting experience.
• Knowledge of International GAAP/IFRS accounting principles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
