Junior Commercial Executive – Otayo

About the role

ABZ Group is seeking a motivated Junior Commercial Executive to join its fast‑growing commercial team in Mauritius. You will support sales and business development activities across a portfolio of popular online platforms, gaining hands‑on experience in client acquisition and relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify new business opportunities in the local market.
• Approach potential clients and partners, establishing initial contact and building rapport.
• Maintain and strengthen professional relationships with existing clients and prospects.
• Assist in negotiations, contract preparation, and the creation of commercial proposals.
• Contribute to the achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
• Represent the company positively at networking events and industry gatherings.
• Support the commercial team with ad‑hoc tasks as directed by management.

Required profile

• Academic background in Communication, Sales, Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Previous exposure to sales or customer‑facing roles is an advantage.
• Strong communication abilities in both English and French.
• Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented and able to work independently.
• Quick learner with the capacity to think on your feet.
