Junior Project Coordinator

About the role

As a Junior Project Coordinator you will support the PMO team in day‑to‑day coordination of client onboarding projects and lower‑complexity initiatives. Working closely with the PMO Lead and Project Managers, you will help keep projects organized, on track, and well documented while following a structured growth path toward independent project ownership.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support client onboarding projects end‑to‑end under guidance of the PM/PMO Lead.
• Maintain project trackers, schedules, and documentation such as RAID logs, status trackers, and meeting notes.
• Schedule and facilitate kick‑off, status, and closure meetings; capture minutes and action items.
• Follow up with internal stakeholders and clients on outstanding items and blockers.
• Provide administrative and reporting support to the PM team across active projects.
• Flag risks and issues to the assigned PM or PMO Lead.
• Progressively take on greater ownership as competencies develop.

Required profile

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive, eager‑to‑learn mindset; comfortable asking questions and following structured processes.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Comfortable working with spreadsheets and trackers.
• Interest in a project‑management career path (e.g., PMP) – not required at hire.

Required skills

• Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet, Jira, or Odoo (a plus).
