Junior Solutions Consultant

About the role

As a Junior Solutions Consultant you will join Protel Indian Ocean’s hospitality technology team to help hotels and food‑and‑beverage businesses adopt modern software solutions. Working hybrid from Rose Hill, you will support the implementation, configuration and customization of our property management, stock management, POS and invoicing platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior consultants and development teams in translating client requirements into system setups.
• Participate in presales demonstrations and prepare solution documentation.
• Support project planning, coordination and tracking of implementation tasks.
• Respond to client queries during and after go‑live via the support ticket platform.
• Contribute to testing, quality assurance and training of end users on system functionalities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, IT or a related field.
• 0‑2 years of experience in technical support, software implementation, IT consulting or a similar customer‑facing role (fresh graduates welcome).
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Basic awareness of sales processes to collaborate with the sales team.

Required skills

• Understanding of software development principles, coding fundamentals and database structures.
• Ability to read code, troubleshoot technical issues and work with APIs and integrations.
