L1 Security Engineer

About the role

Join Orange Business as an L1 Security Engineer, providing first‑level protection for French and international customers. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, collaborating with global teams to resolve security incidents and maintain service quality.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first‑level (L1) support to customers according to Service Level Agreements.
• Analyze and troubleshoot security incidents raised via direct requests or monitoring tools.
• Perform remote monitoring of servers, platforms and related equipment to detect and mitigate potential impacts.
• Manage incidents by handling calls, opening cases and coordinating communication with internal teams.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives while incorporating customer requirements.
• Work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a dynamic service environment.

Required profile

• Diploma in Cybersecurity or a related field.
• Fluent in both French and English.
• At least one year of relevant experience in IT security or networking.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Understanding of IT security principles.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP, SMTP, POP3, DNS and Proxy protocols.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and common security products.
• Advanced PC skills and application knowledge for effective troubleshooting.
