L2 M365 Engineer – Teams & Telephony

About the role

Amaris Consulting is seeking an experienced Level‑2 M365 Engineer to join its international team. The role focuses on Microsoft Teams Phone and telephony services, supporting a large, multi‑country environment and handling critical incidents during shift coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Microsoft Teams Phone System, including Direct Routing, Operator Connect and Microsoft Calling Plans.
• Manage PSTN connectivity, number assignment, porting and lifecycle processes.
• Design, configure and maintain call queues, auto‑attendants, voice routing policies, dial plans and PSTN usage records.
• Analyse Call Quality Dashboard data and troubleshoot call‑quality issues.
• Configure Teams Admin Centre policies, governance settings and meeting options.
• Perform Teams PowerShell administration and troubleshoot SIP signaling for Direct Routing.
• Coordinate with SBC vendors (e.g., AudioCodes, Ribbon, Oracle), carriers and Microsoft support.
• Document telephony topology, number inventory and related processes.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and French.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Teams Phone System and telephony administration.
• Ability to stay precise and structured under pressure.
• Good escalation judgment for P1/P2 incidents.
• Experience coordinating with vendors, carriers and internal teams.
• Disciplined documentation habits.
• Reliability for 24x5 shift coverage and critical incident support.
