Legal Associate

About the role

Kalexius is expanding its managed legal services team in Mauritius and seeks a motivated Legal Associate to join the Ebene office. This entry‑level position offers exposure to international corporate legal work and collaboration with a US‑based team.

Key responsibilities

• Review and update the existing client database to satisfy record‑keeping obligations.
• Conduct industry‑specific legal research and draft accurate summaries of legal texts.
• Provide administrative support to the company and assist the US team as needed.
• Deliver additional legal and paralegal support services as required.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate with a university law degree from a recognised institution.
• Excellent written and spoken communication in both French and English.
• Strong attention to detail, especially for typographical, grammar and punctuation errors.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced, high‑intensity environment.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to assist senior staff.
• Positive and collaborative work attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
