Line Cook

About the role

We are seeking reliable, self‑motivated line cooks to join our professional kitchen in Grand Baie. The successful candidates will work closely with the kitchen team to deliver high‑quality dishes while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food according to kitchen standards.
• Demonstrate good knife skills and safely handle kitchen equipment.
• Work efficiently during service periods.
• Maintain and organise an assigned station.
• Follow food hygiene and safety standards at all times.
• Keep the workstation clean and organised.
• Assist with daily food preparation and overall kitchen operations.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant kitchen experience.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and hardworking.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment.
• English language proficiency.
• Preferably residing nearby or able to arrange reliable transportation to Grand Baie.
• Current employees serving notice periods are welcome to apply.
