Manager – Building Services

About the role

The Manager – Building Services will lead the planning, execution and maintenance of the bank’s premises across the MCB Group. You will ensure that all building and renovation projects meet the bank’s standards, support smooth day‑to‑day operations and deliver a safe, efficient environment for employees and customers.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee building services operations to ensure premises consistently meet MCB standards and customer expectations.
• Engage with internal stakeholders, identify their space‑planning needs and provide recommendations, cost estimates and timelines for renovation or relocation projects.
• Maintain relationships with other business units to align facility solutions with organisational goals.
• Lead, coach and develop the facilities team, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement.
• Process, report and authorise utility bill payments, ensuring accurate financial control.
• Monitor performance, compliance with policies and regulatory codes, and address any non‑conformities.
• Provide recommendations on the maintenance and utilisation of MCB Group’s buildings and properties to protect the brand.
• Apply health, safety and environmental policies to mitigate risks in the workplace.
• Prepare and manage the facilities budget, analysing variances and supporting financial decisions.
