Manager – Global Business Services

About the role

The Manager will lead a team delivering operational services for closed‑end funds and other entities within Apex Group's Global Business Sector. This senior role ensures high‑quality service delivery, regulatory compliance, and effective client relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team on projects, assignments and ad‑hoc duties, overseeing internal and external deliverables.
• Manage operational aspects of unit deliverables, including resource allocation, timesheet review and capacity planning.
• Ensure compliance with Mauritius Companies Act, Financial Services Act, Data Protection Act and other regulations.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of closed‑end funds – formation, investment phase, exit and closure – ensuring regulatory filings and licensing are up to date.
• Conduct customer due diligence (CDD) in line with AML requirements and maintain updated records.
• Attend client meetings, review board packs, and sign off on bank account openings and shareholder resolutions.

Required profile

• 10‑12 years of experience in the Global Business Sector or a related audit function.
• University degree from a recognised institution; ACCA, ACA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong client‑service mindset with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
