Manager – Global Business Services

About the role

The Manager will lead the team on projects, assignments and deliverables within the Global Business Sector, ensuring high‑quality service and compliance with Mauritian regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the team in all project and assignment deliveries, managing internal and external deliverables.
• Oversee operational aspects of unit deliverables, including resource allocation and activity management.
• Ensure high‑quality service delivery, monitor work of unit members, and review timesheets for capacity planning.
• Provide regular operational updates to senior management and identify training needs.
• Manage compliance with Mauritius Companies Act, Financial Services Act, Code of Corporate Governance, Data Protection Act, Securities Act and other regulations.
• Oversee closed‑end fund lifecycle – formation, investment phase, exit and fund closure – ensuring licensing and regulatory filings.
• Conduct customer due diligence (CDD) per AML code and maintain updated records.
• Maintain client relationships, attend meetings, and ensure timely processing of incorporation, restructuring, and winding‑up documents.

Required profile

• 10‑12 years of experience in the Global Business Sector or an audit firm.
• University degree from a recognized institution; ACCA, ACA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Strong client‑service mindset with excellent written and spoken communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Organizational and interpersonal skills with a goal‑oriented, team‑player attitude.
