Marketing & Communications Coordinator

About the role

Renewworld, a solar energy leader in Mauritius, is seeking a proactive Marketing & Communications Coordinator. You will help execute marketing initiatives, create engaging content, and amplify the brand across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Support the rollout of marketing and communication plans on digital and offline platforms.
• Coordinate daily social‑media activity, website updates, and campaign execution to ensure brand consistency.
• Assist in content creation and manage relationships with external suppliers such as designers, videographers, and SEO partners.
• Participate directly in video shoots, live sessions, and on‑site content production.
• Help organise events, activations, and community‑engagement activities.
• Track marketing spend and prepare basic performance reports.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in marketing and communications, with exposure to digital and/or traditional media.
• Good understanding of content strategy, campaign management, and brand communication.
• Comfortable working with external suppliers and coordinating deliverables.
• Basic analytical skills and familiarity with marketing metrics or reporting.
• Organised, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks with guidance.

Required skills

• Strong written and verbal communication in English and French.
• Public speaking confidence and comfort appearing on camera for videos or live formats.
• Ability to create content as well as coordinate its production.
