Masterdata Specialist

About the role

The Masterdata Specialist will support AB InBev’s growth phase by ensuring high‑quality master data for the procurement process. You will work closely with category leads and stakeholders to maintain data integrity and drive efficient reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze large data sets, including product stock codes, and simplify them for management reports.
• Automate master‑data creation and reporting using VBA in Excel.
• Process and update master data records.
• Validate, approve or reject master‑data requests.
• Generate lists of obsolete or duplicate master data.
• Perform master‑data cleansing activities.
• Capture and verify master‑data information.
• Ensure completeness and quality of master data across systems.
• Validate changes with category leads.
• Communicate status to requestors and relevant stakeholders.
• Escalate issues to the Master Data & Compliance Lead.
• Support audit requirements related to master data.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent.
• Experience with analytics tools, especially advanced MS Excel, macros and VBA.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to conceptualize business‑impact focused analytics.
• Effective communication skills, delivering clear and timely information.
• Ability to establish collaborative working relationships.
