Medical Sales Representative

About the role

FTM Mauritius Ltd is seeking a full‑time Medical Sales Representative to promote and sell a wide range of medical products and services to healthcare professionals and organisations. Based on‑site in Port Louis, you will act as the primary point of contact for clients, helping them identify the best solutions for their needs.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell medical products and services to pharmacies, clinics, hospitals and other healthcare providers.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and follow‑up.
• Understand client needs and present tailored solutions that match their requirements.
• Manage sales inquiries, conduct product demonstrations and provide technical information.
• Stay up‑to‑date with medical and pharmaceutical advancements and industry trends.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and report on performance.

Required profile

• Background in medical sales with knowledge of medicine and pharmacy.
• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Proven capability to build and maintain professional relationships.
• Result‑driven, proactive and skilled in negotiation.
• Previous experience in the medical or pharmaceutical field is an advantage.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and meet targets.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel as required.
