Monetization Principal (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Monetization Principal to own revenue growth for iubenda’s suite of privacy‑tech products. You will drive free‑to‑paid conversion and expansion revenue through pricing, packaging, paywalls and lifecycle marketing, reporting directly to the Director of Growth.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the free‑to‑paid conversion strategy across Complianz and other iubenda products, including pricing, packaging, feature gating and upgrade prompts.
• Brief the CRO Principal on test designs for website and product surfaces, decide on launch, iteration or termination based on results.
• Own final pricing and packaging decisions for free‑tier upgrade paths.
• Design and run add‑on and expansion campaigns for existing paid users using email, in‑app messaging and triggered flows.
• Segment users based on usage signals and account maturity to target the right add‑ons at the right time.
• Maintain always‑on lifecycle campaigns from onboarding through expansion and track attach‑rate and expansion MRR as core KPIs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in revenue growth, pricing strategy and lifecycle marketing for SaaS or digital products.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data insights into actionable monetization experiments.
• Excellent decision‑making skills and accountability for revenue outcomes.
