Multimedia Designer - Video & Motion Graphics

About the role

MaxCity's Marketing & Communications department is looking for a creative, versatile and experienced Multimedia Designer with strong graphic design foundations and a particular aptitude for videography, video editing, animation and motion graphics. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Manager, the role supports the company's visual storytelling through multimedia content across corporate communication, real estate developments, digital campaigns and events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop creative concepts and graphic design materials for marketing and communication campaigns.
• Plan, shoot and edit promotional videos, interviews, corporate videos, property showcases and social media reels.
• Produce professional video edits, including transitions, sound, colour correction, subtitles and visual effects.
• Create 2D animations, animated typography and motion graphics for digital campaigns and presentations.
• Develop storyboards and visual narratives aligned with campaign objectives.
• Capture and edit photography and videography content for properties, construction progress, events and corporate initiatives.
• Adapt video and animated content for social media, websites, presentations and digital displays.
• Support the Marketing team with graphic design requirements and coordinate audiovisual production and external suppliers where required.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of relevant professional experience in multimedia design, video production, animation or related creative disciplines.
• Demonstrated experience working across different brands and creative projects.
• Strong portfolio or showreel showing video production, editing and graphic design capabilities.
• Previous experience in a creative agency or corporate marketing environment is an advantage.
• Photography, drone videography and 3D animation experience is an advantage.
• Positive, proactive and solution-oriented, able to work under pressure, manage several productions at once and take ownership of projects from concept to completion.

Required skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Video editing, motion graphics and animation.
• Understanding of camera operation, lighting, framing and sound recording.
• Ability to conceptualise video content from brief to final delivery.
