Multimedia Specialist – Video Production & Editing

About the role

InfluenceUP, a fast‑growing social media marketing agency in Mauritius, is looking for a Multimedia Specialist to manage client videos from concept to final cut. You will plan shoots, film on location, and edit short‑form content that appears on TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook, reaching thousands of Mauritians daily.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and script video shoots based on the monthly content calendar.
• Film on location at client businesses across the island, handling framing, lighting and sound.
• Edit short‑form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Facebook, including cuts, pacing, colour grading, sound design and on‑screen text.
• Record or add voice‑overs when required.
• Deliver each video at least three business days before its scheduled publish date.
• Submit work for internal review, incorporate client feedback, and maintain organized file backups.

Required profile

• A portfolio that demonstrates both filming and editing skills, ideally with around one year of experience.
• Confidence using Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or CapCut.
• Comfortable operating a camera – basic framing, exposure, lighting and audio.
• Strong instinct for short‑form content; the first two seconds matter.
• Willingness to travel across Mauritius; a driving licence is a plus.
• Good written English and French; Kreol is a plus.
• Organised, calm under multiple deadlines and receptive to feedback.
• Focus on video performance metrics, not just visual quality.

Required skills

• Premiere Pro
• DaVinci Resolve
• CapCut

What we offer

• Full creative ownership – you will both shoot and edit each project.
• Structured onboarding, internal review support and clear role definition.
• Opportunity to grow with one of the fastest expanding companies in Mauritius.
