Night Auditor

About the role

The Night Auditor ensures smooth hotel operations during the overnight shift by combining front‑desk duties with accurate financial reporting. Reporting to the Front Office Manager and Assistant Front Office Manager, this role balances guest service with accounting responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end‑of‑day financial audits and reconcile all hotel transactions.
• Verify and balance revenue from front office, food & beverage, housekeeping and other departments.
• Prepare daily financial reports for management review.
• Handle guest check‑ins and check‑outs during the night shift.
• Respond professionally to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints.
• Ensure accuracy of billing, postings, and room charges.
• Monitor hotel security and report any unusual activity.
• Maintain front desk operations and coordinate with housekeeping and security as needed.
• Distribute reports to relevant departments.

Required profile

• Supervises front office team members to deliver excellent guest satisfaction.
• Professional and courteous communication with guests.
• Accurate processing of hotel charges, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Proper grooming, uniform compliance, and punctual attendance.
• Ability to integrate newcomers through a buddy system.
• Positive professional image and participation in social, environmental, and CSR activities.
