Nurse Practitioner – BOSC Clinic (US Navy, Diego Garcia)

About the role

Amentum is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to deliver comprehensive medical care at the BOSC Clinic, supporting a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role involves providing acute and chronic illness management, emergency care, and health education to a diverse patient population.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct physical examinations, review medical histories, and order diagnostic tests.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of illnesses and injuries following established protocols.
• Prescribe and manage medications in compliance with medical regulations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure evidence‑based patient care.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Provide emergency medical response and support public health initiatives.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in nursing with a current Nurse Practitioner license meeting US standards.
• 1‑3 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and oral.
• Valid passport (minimum one year validity) and ability to travel internationally.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and obtain facility credentials.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
