Operations & Onboarding Associate

About the role

The Operations & Onboarding Associate will support daily operations, improve workload distribution and strengthen operational resilience across onboarding, regulatory documentation, client servicing and transaction processing.

Key responsibilities

• Client onboarding & account setup: review client identification and regulatory documents, prepare onboarding packs, issue welcome notes, and liaise with PM assistants, custodians and compliance teams.
• Transaction processing: process deposits, verify source of funds, manage withdrawal requests, assist inter‑account transfers and settlement confirmations.
• International tax & regulatory documentation: assist with cross‑border tax residency declarations, troubleshoot digital tax platform issues, maintain documentation logs and support enhanced due‑diligence reviews.
• Fee administration: update fee structures, brokerage rates and management fees; support month‑end and quarter‑end fee processes.
• Client & PM support: respond to queries, facilitate system access, statement requests and administrative updates while ensuring clear communication.
• Process improvement: assess workflows, suggest simplifications, contribute to SOPs and participate in automation and digitisation initiatives.

Required profile

• 2–4 years experience in financial services operations, onboarding, compliance support or client administration.
• Solid understanding of KYC/FICA/FAIS regulatory requirements.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of concurrent tasks.
