Payments Business Development Lead

About the role

As a Payments Business Development Lead within MCB’s Payments Strategic Business Unit, you will drive revenue growth and create value across the payments ecosystem. You will connect people, businesses and partners through secure, seamless payment solutions, contributing to a cash‑lite, digitally enabled economy.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the payments ecosystem by analysing client needs and market trends to expand revenue streams.
• Analyse segment performance and market intelligence to generate insights that support decision‑making and shape business development strategies.
• Propose tailored payment solutions that enhance customer experience and increase adoption of payments products.
• Drive cross‑selling and up‑selling initiatives within existing client portfolios to maximise value and profitability.
• Build and leverage a strong internal and external network of stakeholders and partners to facilitate collaboration and accelerate growth.
• Contribute to the design and testing of new payments products and propositions.
• Support the structuring and execution of commercial opportunities ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and deliver reports and presentations on business development performance, pipeline and opportunities.
