Performing Arts Teacher (Primary School)

About the role

We seek an exceptional Performing Arts Teacher in the Primary School with a passion for education, dedication, creativity, and outstanding experience from the best schools worldwide. The successful candidate will be a member of the Performing Arts Department and will be responsible for teaching Music, Dance, and Drama to Primary School students.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging lessons that inspire and challenge all students, aligning with curriculum, policies, and assessment requirements, while differentiating learning to ensure each student makes outstanding progress.
• Regularly assess students' learning in class and at home, providing targeted feedback to drive progress and ensure all students are challenged and supported.
• Establish a positive classroom environment where students feel valued, supported, and ready to take risks in their learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues, share best practices, and pursue professional development to maintain high educational standards.
• Contribute to the school's co‑curricular programme, leading clubs and supporting whole‑school initiatives.
• Maintain open and constructive communication with parents, building strong partnerships that support each child's progress.

Required profile

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant subject area or B.Ed., Post Graduate Certificate of Education or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2–5 years of teaching Drama, Music and Dance.
• Experience in school productions.
• Experience using technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Ability to set clear expectations and stretch goals.
• Depth of understanding in the relevant subject area.
• Ability to judge learning effectiveness.
• Enthusiasm, creativity, and a growth mindset.
• Genuine care and attention for the highest standards of student welfare.
