Plumber – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

Join the maintenance team at Constance Le Chaland, a luxury resort on Mauritius' south‑eastern coast. As a Plumber you will ensure the smooth operation of water, gas and oil systems while supporting the overall safety and comfort of guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily consumption of water, gas and heavy oil and report to the Maintenance Assistant.
• Inspect the drinkable‑water basin, central water feeding pump and detect any leaks or overflows.
• Carry out repairs on pipelines, ducts, pool installations and related infrastructure.
• Perform systematic leak verification from the central pipeline to the complex’s canalisation.
• Implement bypass solutions for irrigation when water supply is insufficient.
• Assist with room service works and boiler servicing according to maintenance plans.
• Execute ad‑hoc repairs requested by duty personnel.

Required profile

• Middle or secondary education; additional training or certificates in plumbing or related fields are a plus.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in hotel or luxury‑resort maintenance.
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Fluent in English (additional language is a plus).
