Plumber – Luxury Resort Maintenance

About the role

Constance Le Chaland, a luxury resort on Mauritius' south‑eastern coast, is seeking a dedicated plumber to join its maintenance team. You will ensure the safe and efficient operation of water, gas, and oil systems while supporting the overall guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Read daily consumption of water, gas and heavy oil and hand over records to the Maintenance Assistant.
• Inspect drinkable‑water basins, central water feeding pump and pipelines for leaks or overflow.
• Perform repairs on pipelines, ducts, pool installations and assist with boiler servicing according to plans.
• Carry out by‑pass operations for irrigation water shortages and support room service works.

Required profile

• Minimum secondary education; additional training or certificates in plumbing is a plus.
• At least 1 year of experience in the hotel industry, preferably in a luxury resort.
• Ability to follow occupational safety and health regulations and company safety policies.

Required skills

• Mechanical and technical skills for plumbing systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Decision‑making capability in maintenance situations.
