Public Area Attendant

About the role

The Public Area Attendant ensures that all public spaces of Constance Le Chaland maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, safety and guest satisfaction. Working in a luxury resort environment, you will support the housekeeping team and interact directly with guests to deliver a refined hospitality experience.

Key responsibilities

• Remove trash, replenish amenities and maintain clean linen in public areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, strip, wax and buff floors; shampoo carpets as required.
• Clean windows, walls, chalkboards, trashcans and dust furniture, fixtures and woodwork.
• Collect and empty trash receptacles, pick up litter around the property, and sanitize toilets and bathrooms.
• Inspect and report on the condition of electrical appliances, door locks, blinds, curtains and other technical elements.
• Manage stock of pantry supplies and housekeeping trolleys.
• Provide courteous guest service, address queries and complaints promptly.
• Follow health and safety procedures, report hazards, accidents and suspicious activity.
• Sign in/out keys and perform any additional duties assigned by management.

Required profile

• Middle or secondary education; hospitality‑related certificates are a plus.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in hotel housekeeping, preferably in a luxury resort.
• Physical mobility and stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the day.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently and manage time effectively.
• Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
