Public Area Attendant

About the role

Public Area Attendant responsible for cleaning and servicing all public spaces of the Four Seasons resort in Mauritius, ensuring a pristine environment for guests and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and self‑inspect public areas, including lobbies, restrooms, fitness centre and glass surfaces, following Four Seasons standards.
• Stock and maintain linen closets, replenish supplies, and ensure equipment is clean and functional.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment, health‑safety hazards, or guest property found in public areas to the Housekeeping Office.
• Respond to guest and internal calls, coordinate with relevant departments, and provide timely service.
• Perform deep‑cleaning tasks as assigned and keep work areas tidy and safe.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in housekeeping at a 5‑star resort or hotel.
• Technical education in hospitality management preferred.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking in English and French.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work hands‑on in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Safe handling of cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) procedures.
