Recreation Agent – Guest Activities & Entertainment

About the role

The Recreation Agent welcomes guests, promotes and delivers daily recreational programs, and ensures the smooth operation of the resort’s leisure facilities while providing high-quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide information on recreation programs and facilities.
• Organize and conduct daily activities, games, sports, and entertainment events.
• Monitor and maintain recreation areas, equipment, and beach facilities, reporting any issues.
• Respond to guest inquiries, handle concerns, and ensure safety compliance during activities.
• Support the Recreation Manager with administrative tasks, inventory, and scheduling.

Required profile

• Secondary School Certificate or equivalent; a Certificate or Diploma in Recreation, Sports Management, Hospitality, Tourism, Physical Education or related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in recreation, entertainment, hospitality, tourism, sports or customer service; experience in a hotel, resort, club or leisure facility is a plus.
• First Aid and CPR certification is advantageous; ability to swim may be required depending on the facility.
• Flexible availability to work shifts, weekends, public holidays and evenings.
