About the role

Pagos Consultants is expanding its Delivery team in Mauritius and seeks a Recruitment Consultant to support its global client base across Payments, Fintech, Technology, Executive Search, Quant and Portfolio Management. You will own the end‑to‑end candidate journey, from sourcing to placement, while working closely with Sales Consultants to deliver high‑quality talent.

Key responsibilities

• Source and engage high‑quality candidates across multiple markets and industries.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for live vacancies.
• Conduct detailed candidate interviews and qualification calls.
• Prepare candidates thoroughly for each interview.
• Manage interview scheduling, feedback, and ongoing communication.
• Support offer negotiation and guide candidates through to start date.
• Identify and mitigate risks such as candidate drop‑outs and counter‑offers.
• Generate market intelligence and uncover potential business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and ensure all activity is documented.
• Collaborate closely with the Sales team to ensure outstanding client delivery.

Required profile

• Organised, highly motivated and able to manage multiple processes simultaneously.
• Confident communicator who enjoys speaking with people.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organisational skills.
• Commercially aware and proactive.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Committed to delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
• Previous recruitment experience is beneficial but not essential; attitude and willingness to learn are valued.
