Remote Script Writer – Full‑Time/Contract

About the role

We are looking for a highly creative Script Writer to develop compelling narratives for a variety of media formats, including YouTube videos, commercials, television spots, and digital campaigns. Working remotely, you will collaborate closely with production and creative teams to turn concepts into polished, production‑ready scripts.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and write high‑quality scripts tailored to specific media formats.
• Partner with directors, producers, and creative staff to brainstorm story ideas, themes, and character arcs.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure factual accuracy and authenticity.
• Craft realistic dialogue and manage pacing to advance the plot.
• Participate in script readings, incorporate feedback, and revise scripts as needed.
• Maintain industry‑standard formatting and ensure continuity across all projects.
• Manage multiple writing assignments simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, English, Communications, Film, or a related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of professional experience as a script writer, screenwriter, or copywriter.
• Strong narrative development skills with an understanding of pacing, structure, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Flexibility to adapt writing style for different audiences and project requirements.

Required skills

• Proficiency with script‑writing software such as Final Draft, Celtx, or Fade In.
