Reservation Manager – Hotel (All Genders)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Reservation Manager to lead our Reservations Department at a beautiful resort in Mauritius. You will be responsible for overseeing all booking activities, ensuring seamless guest experiences, and driving revenue optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily operations of the Reservations Department.
• Manage, monitor and optimise all reservation processes using the Mews PMS.
• Handle individual and group bookings accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain room rates, packages, restrictions and availability across all booking channels.
• Monitor booking trends, occupancy levels and demand in close cooperation with Revenue Management and Sales.
• Support revenue, occupancy and booking performance optimisation.
• Ensure high standards in guest communication and reservation handling.
• Train and support staff in the professional use of Mews.
• Create reports and provide reservation data to management.
• Maintain accurate guest and booking data in line with data‑protection requirements.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management and other hotel departments.

Required profile

• Professional experience in hotel reservations, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Structured, reliable and solution‑oriented work style.
• Strong analytical and organisational abilities.
• Excellent communication and service skills.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and French; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to relocate to Mauritius.
• International hospitality experience is advantageous.

Required skills

• Hands‑on knowledge of the Mews property management system.
