Reservation Manager – Mews Expertise

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Reservation Manager to lead our Reservations Department at Maritim Resort & Spa Mauritius. The successful candidate will oversee daily reservation operations, optimise processes in the Mews PMS, and collaborate closely with Revenue Management and Sales.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities of the Reservations Department.
• Manage, monitor and optimise all reservation processes using Mews.
• Handle individual and group bookings accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain room rates, packages, restrictions and availability across all booking channels.
• Monitor booking trends, occupancy levels and demand in partnership with Revenue Management and Sales.
• Support revenue optimisation and occupancy performance.
• Ensure high standards in guest communication and reservation handling.
• Train and support staff in the professional use of Mews.
• Produce reports and provide reservation data to management.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management and other hotel departments.

Required profile

• Professional experience in hotel reservations, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong leadership abilities with a track record of motivating and developing teams.
• Structured, reliable and solution‑oriented work style.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and service skills.
• Fluent in English and French; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to relocate to Mauritius.
• International hospitality experience is desirable.
