Resource Planner

About the role

The Resource Planner will support workforce planning and resource management across multiple service lines, ensuring the right talent is aligned to the right work at the right time. This role blends data analysis, reporting, and cross‑functional coordination to identify staffing needs, capacity gaps and workforce trends.

Key responsibilities

• Track resource demand, capacity, allocations, availability and future staffing needs across business units.
• Identify staffing gaps, over‑allocations and potential deployment opportunities.
• Match available talent to business needs based on skills, experience, grade, location and timing.
• Coordinate resource assignments, extensions and transitions, ensuring accurate reflection in firm systems.
• Partner with managers to validate staffing plans, assignment dates, allocation percentages and requirements.
• Maintain and reconcile workforce data across multiple systems, resolving discrepancies.
• Build and maintain dashboards, trackers and recurring reports on headcount, utilisation, capacity, demand and vacancies.
• Analyse workforce data to surface trends, risks and opportunities, providing actionable insights.
• Identify and implement simplifications, standardisations or automation of planning processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1–3 years of experience in workforce planning, resource management, business operations or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and attention‑to‑detail abilities.
• Excellent organisational, prioritisation and follow‑through skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication and stakeholder collaboration.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with evolving priorities.

• Power BI for data visualisation and dashboard creation.
