Revenue Manager

About the role

The Revenue Manager will lead the hotel’s revenue strategy, using IHG tools and market intelligence to maximise room and non‑room income. You will work closely with the General Manager, sales, reservations and catering teams to drive pricing, forecasting and up‑selling initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the master calendar of external events, competitor rate intelligence, RevPAR penetration and loyalty program metrics using SBRP and IHG standards.
• Prepare monthly, rolling‑3‑month and annual forecasts for rooms, with overview of F&B and other outlets.
• Conduct weekly yield meetings with GM, DOSM, Reservations, Front Office and Catering managers.
• Drive up‑selling programmes for rooms and ancillary inventory, and approve group sell strategies for proposals of 9+ rooms.
• Facilitate Revenue Room meetings, generate analytical reports and ensure compliance with IHG corporate policies.
• Monitor demand periods for function space, rooms and catering, and analyse booking pace, group wash and cut‑off enforcement.
• Identify operational issues affecting revenue performance and collaborate with department heads on solutions.
• Lead, coach and develop the reservations team, ensuring proper training and staffing levels.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel revenue management with strong analytical and forecasting skills.
• Deep understanding of local market dynamics and demand generators.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally, influence pricing strategy and present insights to senior leadership.
• Excellent communication and team‑leadership capabilities.
