Room Attendant

About the role

The Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms to the Four Seasons standards, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment for guests. This position works closely with the housekeeping team and other hotel departments to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and self‑inspect assigned guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitising bathrooms.
• Stock and maintain the linen closet, process guest laundry, and ensure all supplies are replenished.
• Report any malfunctioning equipment, missing items, or health‑and‑safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
• Assist guests and internal customers by responding to calls, coordinating with other departments, and providing a warm, courteous service.
• Participate in briefings, training sessions, and departmental meetings, and act as a role model for teamwork.

Required profile

• Technical education in Hospitality Management preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience in housekeeping at a 5‑star resort or hotel.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English and French.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.

Required skills

• Safe handling of housekeeping equipment and machinery.
• Knowledge of MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) procedures and accident response.
