Sales & Customer Care Officer

About the role

The Sales & Customer Care Officer will be the front‑line representative of the shop in Riviere Noire, providing product information, processing sales and ensuring a professional and efficient customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and attend to customers visiting the shop in a professional and courteous manner.
• Understand customer requirements and provide appropriate information on products and services.
• Assist customers with product selection and sales enquiries.
• Handle customer enquiries received by telephone, email, or in person.
• Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, preparing invoices and billing documents.
• Prepare quotations and follow up on pending requests.
• Maintain accurate customer, sales and transaction records and ensure proper filing.
• Coordinate with store, accounts and other departments to ensure smooth order processing.
• Maintain a professional and organised customer service and sales area.

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications in sales, customer service, business administration or a related field (advantageous).
• Previous experience in sales, retail or other customer‑facing roles (advantageous).
• Fluent in English and French, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
