Sales Manager – Mauritius

About the role

Hub Diffusion Ltd is launching a new distribution business in Mauritius and seeks a proactive Sales Manager to build the customer portfolio and reseller network from scratch. This hands‑on business development role requires independent work, strong networking, and full ownership of commercial growth.

Key responsibilities

• Create and develop a portfolio of customers from the ground up.
• Identify and approach retailers, supermarkets, wholesalers and other potential resellers.
• Build a strong distribution network across Mauritius.
• Generate leads through networking, field prospecting and direct outreach.
• Arrange customer meetings, present product ranges and negotiate commercial terms.
• Close sales and manage relationships with new and existing customers.
• Conduct regular field visits throughout the island.
• Set up and maintain an effective CRM system.
• Monitor opportunities, sales performance and customer follow‑up.
• Provide regular reports to management and identify new product and market opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, field prospecting or business development.
• Strong professional network in the Mauritian retail or distribution sector.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build a business activity from scratch.
• Excellent communication, networking and negotiation skills.
• Highly autonomous, organised and results‑driven.
• Comfortable working without an existing sales team.
• Good command of English and French.
• Valid driving licence and own vehicle.
